As a California State Bar Certified Workers' Compensation specialist, Lawrence Irving Stern has over three decades of experience fighting for the rights of California's injured workers.
Mr. Stern has a successful track record in obtaining substantial awards and settlements in challenging and serious Workers' Compensation Claims. His practice encompasses every aspect of Workers' Compensation law and he has represented a wide range of workers including both union and non-union labor along with public and private sector employees.
Mr. Stern is also experienced in personal injury, products liability and malpractice suits which include specialization in catastrophic industrial and non-industrial accidents.
Mr. Stern graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in zoology and a minor in biochemistry. He also attended Tel Aviv University School of Medicine and holds a Master of Science from the University of Southern California in molecular pharmacology. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University.
Mr. Stern has been on the California Applicants' Attorneys Association and sits on the Board of Governors as a Past President. He is also past president of the Southern California Applicants' Attorneys Association. His past community activities include Judge Pro Tem of the Workers Compensation Appeals Board, Judge Pro Tem of Los Angeles Municipal Court, Panel Member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association for Attorney Fee Dispute matter and Court Appointed Arbitrator in Personal Injury and Product Liability matters.
